Our Involvement: Our team concentrated on the manufacturing, retail and transport sector, key sectors to witness extensive growth in the next 5 years. A preliminary analysis gave us an insight into the competition, the technological scenario and adoption rates. Delving deeper we profiled the distribution network of various multinational companies producing RFID tags, designing & application development firms and system integrators. Furthermore sectors such as personal identification and animal tracking were also monitored.

Outcome: Our team projected exponential growth from the year 2008 for major sectors such as manufacturing, personal identification and transport. An insight into the developing technological standards also gave an excellent view of future developments in the industry.
